I figured I could be reasonable and not buy a lot of stuff when I went out on errands so I took the small car and 30 minutes later I'm packing stuff into the passenger seat while the Tetris theme plays in my head.
In my defense, Aldi has all the fun Christmas snacks right now.

The scariest part of making cranberry sauce is when it turns into a pink froth and I have to frantically adjust the heat before it escapes the pot and comes for me.
Tonight, I'll be padlocking the fridge shut so it cannot escape, for that which has been awakened can never be returned to slumber.

Carrot is sometimes a lap cat, but what I don't understand is why he's mostly a lap cat when I'm fighting a boss in Silksong. "oh you're stressed LET ME LOVE YOU", maybe?

Guess who is done with her tamoxifen in February? And only has to see the oncologist once a year now? MEEEEEEEE.
I'm so thrilled. They caught it early (precancerous!), I finished out the medication, and soon I'll be done except for monitoring.
I just need to decide how to celebrate now.

I can see it now. Five years from now I'll be writing full-time. All my dreams came true. And then at the end of the day, I sit down to rebase this PR I just opened and attempt, yet again, to get reviews from the 11 teams that are codeowners.

Tater's vet appointment went fine otherwise. He's making progress. But the fungus is busting out of his skin in a couple places and the vet said it could get into the bone.

The only reason I got out of the library with only two books is because I did the smart thing and sat down to read one while waiting for the rest of my family instead of picking up more books from the shelves.

I needed to relax after editing all day so I decided to play some Silksong, specifically the Widow fight, and no, I don't know what's wrong with me.
And no, I haven't beaten her either. I've been getting to the last phase. My hands are shaking. I'm going to go back to editing to calm down.
