To be fair to high church's,(RC ortho lutheran, etc) I'm not familiar with their liturgies, they might. I know the EO does, and I respect they at least are trying to talk him into it.

There are reasons most protestants don't pray for world peace in church.
It's too heartbreaking when God clearly doesn't agree with your request is one. Or, they see that God hasn't already done it, so it must not be his will, and so it shouldn't be the Christian's prayer either.
