Sentry has a depressing bit of lore for the Bootleg-Verse. What started as a genuine attempt to do good with miraculous superpowers to eventually be drifted off into space during the Great Space Race, to being forgotten by the world and consumed by the VOID, only to be used as a flesh vessel for this hateful darkness.

Sentry and Void's design are very simple and basically an almost 1:1 redo of their comic book counterparts, only real difference is that I gave Sentry those glowing, golden eyes. I gave Void that cool red outline, and I used a teeth drawing technique that I took from Pastra on YouTube!

Sentry doesn't ever fight the Thunderbolts in the Bootleg-Verse, he's saved for the Guardians of the Galaxy... but still, for totally not obvious reasons, I'm just posting him here!

I hate the Punisher. I think he is a bleak hole, which makes sense for the character, but I hate reading about him... But I still had to make him look cool!

I based this off his Thunderbolts Red design from Marvel Rivals, and gave him long hair and a similar skintone of Saejima from the Like A Dragon series. I wanted the Punisher to look truly disconnected from the world, which is why you barely see his face. He should give the vibe that he willingly joined the government's clear middle finger to this world's Avengers just so that he can pump a magazine into a criminal's face LEGALLY.

Black Widow in terms of skin tone and hair; you can immediately tell she has bits of Korsica from Hi-Fi Rush! This is basically your standard Black Widow design of her black bodysuit and red accessories... Which are normally gold. I wanted her to blend in while also showing that Widow is someone who works out of obligation; because she does eventually defect from the Thunderbolts after what I have ripped off and dubbed as the "New Tokyo Incident."

I made Clint, like a lot of characters in the Bootleg-Verse, a Japanese American seeing how both cultures have merged by this point. Which explains why he has that armored, Japanese archer approach to his design that was heavily taken from his Rivals design, and some Hanzo & Genji from Overwatch! Finding the colors was always tricky, but eventually it landed with the classic black and purple with a hint of that dark blue still persisting in the design! Also he and Nat are dating... And yes he also defects from the Thunderbolts.

That's part of the reason why he's the only one not wearing red: he's there because his girl's there, nothing else.

I really wanted that classic Black Cat look but I needed to have a more, higher class version seeing how Bootleg!Felicia is the owner of a cabaret club in Botendori (Brooklyn + Dotenbori/Sotenbori). I also wanted to really go into the cat motif as I feel BC could really benefit from that, plus it's cute!

She's got the classic ears and tail combo, she has her ponytail tied to look like a ball of yarn, and she even has a sewing needle pin to go with that yarn! All completed with the high boots, sewn in corset, and the fut that really makes this Black Cat look like the classic femm fatale archetype!

My design for a shonen-inspired Marvel universe, and I of course started with my favorite hero: Spider-Man! Took some inspirations from the Unlimited Classic suit, Insomniac Advanced suit, and of course the classic Ditko black and red color combo!

Scarlet Spider(s)! These were done later down the road compared to the others, but I decided to give Kaine and Ben their own spin on the outfits; going for a more MMA fighter approach for Ben, and Kaine to have the pinkish red of his original costume from his first appearance!

Inspired Patrick's design off of Leon from RE2 but I made him older to fit the vibe of Pat. TOXIN is where I took some creative liberties, inspiring his tattoos off of Akaza from Demon Slayer (not a fan of the show, but designs are fire). I decided to give him the same shading treatment, this time with orange and purple!
