These photos were taken about 8.5 years apart. Same people, different horses. Over the years we got smarter and switched from greys (Roo and Gracie) to bays (Foster and Essie). It’s rare, and wonderful, for a student to stay with me this long, almost ten years.

I could not find Vecna scary. In Serbian, vekna means loaf, as in loaf of bread or meatloaf. So every time he was mentioned I could not help but laugh. He even looks like a meatloaf. A comical figure rather than scary.
