It's pretty notable to hear Brendan Crighton mention congestion pricing, as he represents Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus, and Swampscott. Lynn and Swampscott have commuter rail stops, but those are all significant car commuter towns.

Speed bumps have made roads safer. Asking only ppl who drive if they like them is a wild way of slanting the conversation @wgbh.org as a parent seeing how many cars slow down coming up to them it gives me hope mb my kids won't get hit by a car if we can train ppl to slow down. Use speed cameras too
How do you feel about speed bumps?

I like these sidewalk-level bike lanes that also have separation from pedestrian space on the sidewalk with pretty materials like cobblestone and/or trees.

If People magazine of all places is writing about safer streets and giant SUVs then maybe our political leaders could show some courage and not capitulate to the vocal minority who want drivers to keep on killing
“There are solutions out there,” Cohen insists. “We don't need to wait for something to be invented. We just need our leaders to have the political will to put them in place so we can start saving lives.” Via @people.com.

Street parking makes no sense TBH & our strategy moving forward needs to plan for delivery, trash pickup, taxi drop off, dedicated bike lanes, expanded sidewalks and utility strips for light posts and electrical boxes or postal boxes instead of putting them into sidewalks taking space from sidewalks
