The combination of special effects and concept art at its best. #GoodOmens

I always keep on adding to this, but here is Rob presenting Bernard Pearson (Emporium founder & Pratchett collaborator) with his Order of the Honeybee pin.

Sir Terry Pratchett dressed as William Brown from Richmal Crompton's "Just William" for a series of portraits done for an exhibition inside The Story Museum back in 2014. In his words, “why not". ( #GoodOmens was written from the perspective of William Brown originally).

“Terry was at the top of the call sheet along with everyone else’s name. He was always present – his hat was in the bookshop, permanently, it’s always there. His books were around and there are a few other Easter Eggs we put in there for Terry.” -Douglas Mackinnon #GoodOmens

And since we’re on the subject of things he said (and this particular one makes me very happy), here’s a clip of Sir Terry confirming he wrote 75% of Good Omens

Absolutely! I originally shared that last year too. The one and only author 😇

Context: at B&N at Union Square, NYC, Terry Pratchett and Rob Wilkins had a discussion about Terry’s new book Dodger. The conversation was wonderfully derailed several times, and they got to share other Pratchett news.

Since Rob Wilkins brought this up, this is an old video of Sir Terry Pratchett expressing the same thought about David Tennant as Doctor Who.

Canonically, these would be Shadwell’s top 4 films if he had Letterboxd. #GoodOmens

Sir Terry and the Pratchgan. “Terry loved the Pratchgan - he said it must have taken a thousand seamstresses a long time to make. He said it's outrageous & over-the-top & brilliant & he's gonna put it on his bed. Just before he left he said '& I still aten't dead’”.

😂 they do Michael so dirty sometimes.

We all know how detailed Good Omens newspapers are in-show, but this was the real cover when they filmed in Hambleden!

Did you know there is a hidden baby antichrist on one of the BBC Radio Dramatisation vinyl record’s of Good Omens? It only happens on a specific one; the rest are only black and white.

no but, I cannot wait to hear the new score. The GO theme has always been Aziraphale and Crowley’s combined score and the 1941 music “in a way we'd been waiting a while to be able to say [Aziraphale’s feelings] it”- so can you imagine how glorious that new get-together will be?

David Arnold said some time ago: “The theme is my homage to Brian May in a lot of ways. "Why don't I do it with Brian's guitar? Why don't I bleed into the real world the sound that is in Crowley's car to help pull it all together?" #GoodOmens

Those really are Michael and David dressed as Aziraphale and Crowley- but not completely them as of that moment. Beautiful how they found their pacing, slowing evolving and then catapulting all at once into the angel and demon we all know and love.

The Chattering Order of St. Beryl is an integral part of Good Omens- a part brought on by Sir Terry; who turned them from mere satanic nurses into chattering (satanic) nuns.

Sadly they said around 7 months- around end of December would be the soonest they’d be open again!

Just a psa: if you want to visit Crystal Palace Park and check out some ‘dumbasaurs’ and magic acts, do so before the 11th of July! They will be renovating the dinos and the park itself. #GoodOmens
