Im glad someone else feels this! I loved every minute in BoTW because everything felt exciting and whims that you followed felt like they paid off, in TotK I feel frustrated walking around Hyrule. The depths are fun to explore but the darkness and sheer cliff faces whittle away my patience faster

Toggling between multi-res and subdiv while sculpting, adding little details here and there but then seeing what is actually lost of the original character, like here i think the brow makes it seem a little less friendly, so need to tweak that!

Well, it finally happened. Someone trained an AI on my voice, and used it to generate narration for their YouTube video.

Feels pretty bad! Don't like it!

I've submitted a privacy complaint with YouTube - hopefully they'll take it down soon.

I've been diving into Aseprite and using it as a way to wind down at the end of a days work, heres the results from last week!
The limits imposed by a 16x16 grid and Master System pallet have been so freeing, but looking forward to trying something a bit more complex soon!

The feeling of finishing something and watching people interact with the game irl was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had.

Taking the dodge the creeps tutorial and adding my own (albeit little) spin has been an asking way to learn @godotengine.org and actually finish a project.

Adding my own sprites, music, start screen and 10 point bonus potatos were exactly the kind of ‘mini challenges’ that made it feel like I didn’t just follow instructions but made it my own. Featuring interactive work in a gallery setting is definitely something I’d love to do more of this year!

Just over a year ago I completed my first game project ‘Tatty Bogle’ based on the folk tale of the Scottish potato protecting scarecrow!

The game was my contribution to Folklore, a show put on by Lucky Frog Studio in Brighton, presenting it in a framed iPad!
