Over the coming days, weeks, and months you will likely find I am posting more - more food, more electronics, more farm/dog stuff.

It is my way of coping and I hope you find some of the content interesting and hopefully there will be something you like.

I have a 200W JCT MOPA fiber laser with a motorized Z-axis to adjust depth as it progresses.

"How do you know they'll print it? How do you know?"

Fiber Lasers are still the Wild West.

My laser requires EZCAD3 (which is poorly documented). So, I set about to document a reproducible process.

Most sources build on other sources ... ignoring the big picture.

Today I added 1 check box - to invert the STL - and eliminated 8 steps (and a bug)

"Pull the flyback transformer."

... it's a murder mystery.

I guess it's less a "horror" story and more of a dark suspense thriller.

If the movie flops, I would not be surprised to see an edit made directly to your description 👍🏼

Adding swappable inserts to the fiber lasers for holding coin blanks in the center of the venting extractor.

More harvest. Less privacy.

From CAD to Object

Printed in PETG with 3mm thick solid walls, the piece took a combined total of 10.5 hours.

Printed in 2 pieces and bonded with WELD-ON 3.

(The change from satin black to gloss black is from a filament run-out change over).

Guess who just got back today
Them wild-eyed worms that been away
Haven't changed, had much to say
But man, I still think them worms are flay
They were eatin' away at his gray matter
Having their fill, gettin' fatter and fatter
They compin' & poopin' inside his brain
Drivin' old JFK even more insane

They're taking down my privacy fence 🙁

A fully formed loft between 2 arbitrary shapes requires 3 sketches - one for each "face" and one for the rails connecting the faces. Sketching rails in 3 dimensions is a bit of a PITA but much easier if you use the move/copy handles.

I knew very little about Cuba and the events surrounding Che Guevara until I was researching for one of my "Adventures of Sara Cladlow" stories.

The Autodesk Fusion LOFT command (with rails) is incredibly powerful while simultaneously being one of the most obtuse setups possible ... with is saying a lot with Fusion as it has so many obtuse tasks.

When I look at the entire conflict/war I keep hearing Admiral Fitzwallis say, "You’ll have doled out a five thousand dollar punishment for a fifty buck crime" ... the sign of a "disproportionate response".

I just saw the updates @adafruit.com MagTag and it has a deep sleep of just 250µA.

This is much better than my 395µA. My hardware "should be" much more efficient so I clearly have more work to do.

Testing out alternatives and found some improvements.

Most of my "hacking" occurred in the kitchen. Friends call it my "culinary lab" 😜

It works exceptionally well and has the bonus of mounting easily to a suction cup for attaching to a window ... at ground level or 11,000 ft 😜
