Here's a thought for selfish, individualistic Americans, even Canadians: let wheelchairs, scooters, baby carriages, etc. go first (into one-door elevators). They'll have room to maneuver into place. It also means you can get out first because you're the last one in, closest to the door. Win win

An observation: Canadian Thanksgiving is October. USA's is in November. Because Canadians don't see their family in between holidays, it's a big deal celebrating Christmas. Whereas, in the USA, they've seen their families one month after another, so meh. Cultural distinction between the 2 countries.

I filed a complaint on the No Frills website about their store's illegal policy that I had to leave government issued devices and expensive purchases with employees just to use the washroom away from the store area. No other No Frills store has that policy.

Lawyers, Cabinet min.s, gov'ts, security agents, med. prof'ls, ambassadors, high commissioners, consulate, etc. & staff can't have devices checked, left @ movie screenings, bags checked anywhere, or cell phones looked @ by border agents. Companies can't have illegal policies. Violates /1 #cdnpoli
