I’m sorry, the Colts have been exceptionally shit, but that is such a soft call. To me, that’s not pass interference, that’s just poor defending and smart offense.

Seen the game back. Odegaard was good. Strangely, I think we were worse. It’s not solely on him but I immediately see old patterns returning that I don’t like.

Nice draw so far. A lot of games that have potential to be a dive/complain to ref/terrible foul festival. Brazil-Morocco, Spain-Uruguay, Portugal-Colombia. I expect a red a game average in those 3 games.

That Fulham-City game does sort of show why statistic-driven people are skeptical of a City title run this season. They don’t control games very well. Was even evident in a few games they have won (Brentford away, for instance, and Leeds this weekend).

Don’t agree with Elliot (Arsenal Vision) that he should have kept Zubimendi on. Only thing I might have done differently is bringing in Nwaneri instead of Gyokeres. And see if he gets the space to shoot from the edge instead of trying a battering ram.

I think people need to chill out. I’d argue that’s more Chelsea losing two than us. We’ve played a shitload of tough away games already, they didn’t close any gaps and City were always going to come close anyway during this season. That’s just something you have to deal with.

I wonder if this is a game Madueke starts in from the left, but he and Saka actually switch sides in some instances. Could be a good way to target Cucurella, as they provide very different challenges for defenders.

Some nerves for Chelsea away. I think we have the quality to really, really hurt them but I feel that this game does depend on moments more than others we’ve played this year. The first goal will be massive, that will dictate a lot, I feel.
