It’ll be very interesting to see if after the midterms any Republican has the guts to announce their run for president for 2028. Normally this would be expected but would any of those castrati dare challenge even the hypothetical of Trump being President for Life?

I think a lot about how by the end the Vietnam war was very unpopular but antiwar protesters were also very unpopular so there were a lot of people who hated the war but also couldn’t stand the people who protested against the war they hated.
One thing pop culture gets wrong is that the Nazis were in fact incredibly incompetent boobs and the main reason they got as far as they did was they spooked a lot of weak people and institutions and armies that should have been able to stop them.
