Our convicted felon president, who pardoned Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys convicted of seditious conspiracy, wants to charge Mark Kelly, a decorated war veteran and astronaut, with seditious conspiracy.

That’s some next-level banana republic shit right there.

First and business class passengers get given pyjamas to wear. Why should they get all the fun?
Is it acceptable to wear pyjamas on a flight?

61% of Brits say no, echoing US transport secretary Sean Duffy who criticised PJ-clad passengers yesterday

However, generations differ: 71% of 18-24yr olds say it is acceptable, compared to 11% of over-65s

I love an afternoon lecture from someone happy to ride on the back of a billionaire's web infrastructure as long as it guarantees their bog roll gets delivered.
There are things we have agency over and things we don't. You might not be able to control the choice of cloud provider of a second tier supplier of something like your online grocery delivery firm, but you can certainly choose whether or not to use a slop image generator

Social media is basically built on posting shit pictures mocking people in places where the target of the mocking never sees them.

What's the alternative? Writing Farage a letter in which you call him a cunt?

It was never like this on Ceefax...

Say it out loud: Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history.

Shame on you BBC.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Well, that's me told.

All advice on defeating fascism gratefully received.

Meanwhile, the search for an ethical, sustainable, organic internet continues.

And don't buy from Amazon, folks.

Here's a picture of a kitten.

Just when you thought X couldn't sink any further into the sewer of cuntery.

Just switch it off.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Happy Monday one and all.

Is Trump dead yet?
Putin?
Farage?
Miller?

Any good news?

Holy fuck.

A US president actively pushing a Russian policy. That's treason, surely?
Reuters has confirmed that King Donald the Mad's "28-point Ukraine peace plan" was written by Russia, handed to Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff during a Miami hotel meeting with sanctioned Kremlin operative Kirill Dmitriev, then pushed as US policy.

Oops.
