a little bummed out about bsky. not because of the interface, i love that it is clunky, think that is a feature not a bug. bummed that some of the mutuals i have on twitter are not my mutuals here. maybe i didn't earn it over there π

i think that after you deconstruct all your views and beliefs and recognize their relative nature the move is not to abandon them but to recommit to them.

been said before, but manifesting gets a bad rap because a lot of people push the straw man version (anything i wish will come true). its uncontroversial that focusing on the outcome you want over the long term will help you to identify ways to make it more likely to happen

another useful question: when confronted with a scenario that i had not previously considered, how quickly do i form a view on that scenario?

two useful questions i ask myself are: 1. am i aware that I am subject to the three i's? 2. am i unbothered by this fact or do i try to correct it these are also helpful scissor statements when talking to others

incomplete in that there are a large number of scenarios they have never thought through inconsistent in that there are blatant contradictions in their views incoherent in that very few of their views have be considered in relation to each other
