And I know there’s value to all that, I’m just a believer in riding your hot hand starter while he’s hot.

More than anything, I just hate how quickly starters get pulled in baseball in general now. I’m an analytics-minded guy so I get it, but that’s one area where I yearn for the old days.

I truly hate the managerial style of postseason baseball. It sucks. Playoff drama is always good but pulling your starter, who is on fire, to play matchups in the sixth inning just makes me so mad.
