Wont have much effect unless the space is very small. It is losing moisture to the room more than to the wood. Need to humidify the entire golding space or case

ignore it. some are pretty good. Better sounding is for you to decide. Sturdier? I thing they are all kinda similar except the boss pedal switch is sturdier. That snooty know-it-all stuff is all over the guitar forums too. Don't let it kill the good vibes.

Order is subjective.For me. first thing I would do is wire up the fuzz alone or very first in the chain and play, esp if you use the vol knob for gain. Then decide how to best arrange the klon and gain pedals around it. The correct answer is what you like best.
