I'd love to be fly on the wall for convo in which someone on Cuomo's team thought endorsements from Musk & Trump was good idea! Trump was hated in NYC long before he went full fascist. Who thought endorsements from those 2 guys was a good idea? Laughing at all the big biz folks who dumped $$ on him!

So grifter-in-chief was on the program that used to be called '60 Minutes' last night. They recorded 65-70 minutes but used 35 or so? Thus they...edited...the footage? If I were lawyer working with/for VP Harris, I'd file a lawsuit, just to further illustrate the absurdity of all this!

When I find myself in complete agreement with David Brooks I know we're in uncharted territory! I don't think he focuses enough on ills effect of social media and fragmented media landscape but this is pretty essential reading, and very very well written!

Herbie Hancock, Strathmore 11/1. Amazing. An 85-year old man and his band play a 2.5 hour show that ends with extended take on his 80s hit 'Rockit' with Hancock on keytar, during which he dances with his obviously much younger guitar player. Amazing show amazing band. Go see legends while you can!

Watched 'House of Dynamite' last night. Anything that Kathryn Bigelow does is no-brainer. Surprised to read some neg reviews I thought it was incredibly well done, compelling. Scariest part is realizing that people in those govt military etc roles IRL right now are unqualified incompetent hacks!

Few days old, I won't link to articles cause they all seem to have his face. When we got my Dad (who's only 2-3 older than him) an MRI, it was because we thought (correctly) that he had Alzheimer's/dementia symptoms. You don't get one as part of your standard well visit. Who's gonna tell him?

1. Idea of 1 big-tech company making another company 'be better' doesn't make me overly enthused.
2. Prince refers to "almost every reasonable AI company..." Are there actually any?
3. Partnership with Microsoft so isn't this just biz strategy for Bing?

Can someone stop them from demolishing the White House? Please? He's a fucking TENANT, he doesn't OWN the building. I've lived in lots of apartments where I paid rent. I was allowed to decorate how I wanted to. I was NOT allowed to put an addition on or demolish a wall. There's no difference here!

This is the East Wing of the White House that Trump is having demolished to build his gaudy Mar a Lago style ballroom.

A large, gray Volvo excavator with a pincer claw tears into the side of a white building, actively demolishing it and sending dust and debris into the air. The building, which appears to be the West Wing, is partially collapsed, with a large pile of rubble on the muddy ground. Several construction workers in yellow safety vests are on the site, and the main, undamaged White House residence is visible in the background.
