#CommissionsOpen - In need of some stuff for a project or whatever? Want a crazy person who has too many thoughts to help you out? Want to pay me up front rather than way down the line like some people?

Take a good look. $300 bucks get you 1k Words + 3 character spot pieces + 1 map; no AI or shit.
PUERED.

I knew it! I knew it was a thing! I was just spelling it wrong because my brain was not my own!

I'll wait until the book is out proper, but this art piece caught me off guard in a wonderful way and it made me very happy when I first saw it.

I think he shall not see the most use, but I need you to understand how fundamental he was to figuring out a greater cosmological theogony for dragons.
Pathfinder's mightiest dragons are coming to you in miniature! Check out the dragonets and why they're more than just so stinking cute in today's blog!

I think what bothers me, personally, with a lot of the modding in Bannerlord is how very good modders have leaned into AI when all they truly need is a Weizenbaum tier bit of writing to account for the honestly very limited number of potential interactions.

You need a very limited bark index.

Also a weirdness of the publishing world of games. Getting an email by someone who once pointed a proverbial gun at me, saying they are a fan of my work and would like me on a project.

Do they remember the harm they've done? Do they care? Do I care? The labor is all. But who must offer grace first?

I was on a thing discussing a thing which I feel I more artfully can speak about in text. I also went off on a wild tangent about why Ninja Borg actually damaged my brain. Or it damaged my brain to the point that I'm misremembering actually talking about it.

DD remains a high mark project.
New podcast episode! I talk with @danielharila.bsky.social & @brianyaksha.bsky.social about Daniel's OSE adventure Duginthroat Divided (and a host of TTRPG topics).

Strange insights abound.
Might've figured out a means to reconcile some travel as uninteresting issues, but it does mean creating an prodigiously large set of threads to weave together as needed.

Which is up my alley, yet also - utility would demand I offer such a tool freely, given its weight.

Home on Monday.
I feel like a bottle of lightning.
Let us see if that shall carry over.

I janked my ankle, so excuse the miserable communist whinging. It is my nature and I really hate the Democratic party for having turned hope into a poisonous thing.

Look upon the cowards and remember well they want you dead. They want you to suffer while they line their pockets with your blood, sweat and toil.

There is no wall befitting such lowly collaborators to the authoritarian in charge. Let'em slither to the curb and know the boot is too good for them.
Trump is filling his government with Nazis, consolidating authoritarian power, and eroding democracy at every chance.

And yet these 86 House Democrats voted for a right-wing messaging amendment to say that the real authoritarians are the socialists.

Pathetic.

There are more gun shops than general stores or hardware stores in this weird area of Nostrand Ave. Which isn't to say there's a ton of gun shops - but there is a singular one, and not one of the other things which I'd assume people need more often.

Also lotta Cuomo posters still up.
Lol.
Perish.

Look at this creature.

I took a nap and framed out a very specific means of compounding some of my nonsense.

Now whether that ought to be the next work remains to be seen. But it would be a wise pursuit.

But also, what am I if not a fool?

Fascinatingly, handing over a ton of Rakehell remaster drafts to a person feels almost like trauma-dumping. Or like point-blank hitting someone with grapeshot.

But its, y'know, random tables.
A monument to my hubris and well diagnosed mental illnesses; but mostly random tables.

An unanticipated nicety to see a review of a work I did. Pretty much full agreements.

Id say more but Im on my phone and eating a burrito.

Free expansions fix some of the issues, but not all. I wrote it in zilch time and still got an ENnie nom AND told Foxy Dan to shut up.

Live your dreams kids.

Wrote a durability system that doesn't suck last night. That's fun.

Love to confront old design challenges.

Winding down for the evening, I've taken to reading some of the middle editions of older games and its neat to find aspects of them which were cut later on. The systems or traits are not polished enough, but they say things and are worthy of consideration.

Certainly clarifies some ideas of my own.

I have not met a single Californian, regardless of politics, who does not find Gavin Newsom to be one of the most fetid sacks of shit on the goddamn planet.

For every overt posturing gesture he makes to win over liberals, he engages also in more overtly fascistic and wretched behavior.

Wild stuff.
COLUMN: “The way back for the Democratic Party is about how we work around what appears for some to be this immovable object, Trump and Trumpism,” @gavinnewsom.bsky.social tells our Jonathan Martin.

I really have to go back in and fix all the scaling issues with some of the newer tokens; but it was worth relearning some old skills to experiment all the same.

Might maybe make some hex joiner overlays for border areas, help gradient transition things.

Many ways I could go with this.

Also, funniest damn thing. I'm enraptured by Cairn. I did work on Dolmenwood. By all accounts, the Wildwood Manuscripts would make a lovely Cairn type setting.

Alas, Cairn already exists within an implied woodland setting. So it'd be a hat on a hat.

Albeit, it is just about tools anyway.

Game got cancelled for the evening for a number of reasons, but here's a party shot as its been a bit.

Not exactly... heroic material.
November 16, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Got a reddit notification for the first time in forever, from a six year old post in which someone was happy to see me speakthe strengths of a game.

I would not be speaking to that game's strengths if asked again today. I'm rarely here to yuck one's yum, but the stress they gave me?

Not happening.

Next session tomorrow, the party now fleeing through the Dead Bogs into the Kochako family's tiny province, with a mostly broken boyfriend, a hellbound husband, a bloodspeaking child, a traumatized teen soldier, and an abomination of flesh holding a plague god in his guts - in tow.

That'll be fun.
November 15, 2025 at 4:37 AM
Welp.

Former job asked for a debrief, I gave it to them, and now they want to pay me to train for a potential future leadership position.

I literally only care about the bureaucratic flow state of this thing. I desire to be a functional functionary.

Guess we'll see how this one plays out.

Deleted as it felt somehow specific enough, but just know I was capable of whimsy and it did not survival the editorial process.
