What Trump and his powerful allies want is for us to call his now-suffering supporters "FAFO" or "leopard ate face". What they're really afraid is for them to join us. We can change the messaging and still vindicate ourselves. Here's a suggestion: "Welcome to the party, pal!"

About MAGA's "confusion" about Bad Bunny's U.S. citizenship. I wish it is just ignorance. But it feels more sinister to us. In Trump's America, anyone who isn't white or monolingual (English) - including Native Americans - needs to explain ourselves.

Finally checked out the super-local independent coffee shop 2 years after moving here in Sanxia (三峽). And wouldn't you know it... They have the carrot cake! I used to have got all the way to Taipei for that. Local coffee rules!
