In MI07, a 60-year old couple making $85K a year will pay $1,443 more each MONTH for a silver health care plan if Tom Barrett & DC Republicans don't extend ACA credits.

It’s simple: almost 500k Michiganders receive ACA tax credits to afford health insurance. If Tom Barrett & Republicans refuse to extend the tax credits, premiums will skyrocket by some 20%. Many will lose coverage.

2 years ago, Hamas launched a terrorist attack in Israel killing 1,200 civilians, including 40 Americans. As we honor the memories of those killed, we must continue to push for the return of all hostages, the free flow of aid to Gaza, and a peaceful & lasting two-state solution.

This summer, I learned I had breast cancer. While it’s news no one ever wants to hear, I'm so grateful it was detected early, I have an amazing team of doctors & the cancer has been removed. The experience makes me even more determined to fight for everyone’s right to healthcare.

I warned the Trump admin: failure to stand up to Putin results in more war.

We should not just stand by and watch: we need to push Europe to release $300b in Russian assets and ramp up sanctions against Putin’s war machine.

I’ve seen this before: Trump’s crackdown on free media, pressure on prosecutors & judges, and dismantling of independent agencies is straight out of Putin’s playbook.

We're a nation founded on freedom & democracy.

I’ve been hearing this from farmers across our community: Tariffs have spiked the price of equipment while closing off markets for soybeans & corn. Small producers don’t have the storage to wait it out. Bottom line: we must help family farmers, and fast.

Thank you to the Eaton County Farm Bureau for having me at last night’s Annual Dinner! With tariffs making inputs more expensive & lowering crop export prices, our trade policy isn’t working for farmers. We must do more to support the ag community & I’ll do just that in Congress.
