Follow up question for game devs? How do you build around that? I feel like I've played a lot of games now that have strong beginnings and then flop near the middle and end while my favorite recent games have started a little weak but built into something really good.

How long do you play a game before deciding if it's for you or not? I personally try and play a game until either I get some kind of ending OR I absolutely am not having fun with it anymore. Some people give it many days and others like 10 minutes.

One of the most surprising revelations upon launch of The Chaser's Voyage is just how into the lore and banter between the characters there are. Which is great, because I wrote all of it and had a ton of fun.
