To go with the #DanDare spaceship, we now also have a contemporary ~1954 "Supersonic" #spaceship on display. These are really, //really// rare, the company that made the kits seems to have gone bust almost immediately.
The parts for this were scattered amongst a series of boxes of donated #Meccano

Model built from a parts in the Supersonic Spaceship Builder metal construction kit.

Yep. Our example was a bit abbreviated when we received it. Only two stages rather than the proper three. A bit stubby. After the recent surgery, it's now a happy spaceship again. 👍
