The third solar farm site has been selected as part of the Bristol City Leap partnership ☀️

Adding approximately 2.5 Megawatts of clean power, this project plans to provide energy to power the equivalent of about 970 homes annually 🏘️

Since Vattenfall Heat UK began operating the Bristol heat network in January 2023, as part of the Bristol City Leap partnership aimed at supporting the city in achieving its net-zero targets.

Absolutely, connecting individual homes is something the Bristol heat network wants to do in the future and technically, it's a great solution for residents. On a city-scale, the current priority is connecting large buildings to gain the required scale needed to expand into new residential areas.
