Passionate about sports (esp pro hoops), music and (unfortunately) politics. KG + Hakeem, Charles Mingus + Al Green, group survival in good faith.
Really fun, hard-fought game. Good to see the Wolves have that gear. They are going to need to exercise it more frequently in the months ahead.

Wolves going to win this going away. Ant the steal McDaniels the free throw that ices it with 1.1 seconds to play
December 20, 2025 at 5:17 AM
Ant with a trey falling into the front row. He's actually pretty good on those. Wolves up 1. 38 ticks to go
December 20, 2025 at 5:14 AM
Taking Rudy out on both sides of the ball is a choice
December 20, 2025 at 5:11 AM
Been a really contested game, very very few actions easy. Wolves have scaled up for this, now need to bring it home
December 20, 2025 at 5:05 AM
And and SGA trade midranges. And here we go
December 20, 2025 at 4:59 AM
Haven't seen these scrappy Wolves very much this season. Naturally I blame the schedule. But now that they have a run a formidable opponents and dropped one to Memphis, urgency is upon them.
Better late than never

Dillingham undaunted by his aggressive misses is a net good thing, I think, because he kept his head in the game for the defense and that dime
December 20, 2025 at 4:56 AM
Naz with the big boy putback and the lead grows to 6
December 20, 2025 at 4:52 AM
Borderline call. Naz got him with the body more than the hand.
December 20, 2025 at 4:51 AM
Not enough said (at least by me) about Wolves D tonight. Thunder shooting 39.4/31.3
They haven't been great on offense for weeks but not this mid
December 20, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Big trey from Randle, for himself and the team
December 20, 2025 at 4:45 AM
I never thought it was in the cylinder. More likely a goaltend. But maybe clean
December 20, 2025 at 4:43 AM
Two point game with 12 to play. Wolves have only 8 turnovers (albeit it has cost them 15 points, the big danger playing the opportunistic Thunder) and are plus 8 in second chance points at 20-12.
Worth wondering if you go hard back to Randle whose lack of success vs Thunder is now a chronic thing
December 20, 2025 at 4:39 AM
McDaniels gets his first personal wirh 2:11 to play in the third. Vegas would have paid out plenty for that bet before the game.
December 20, 2025 at 4:30 AM
If Wolves lose this one, they'll rue the foul line, where they are 17-28 versus OKC 15-16. +11 in attempts, +1 in makes
December 20, 2025 at 4:27 AM
Ant can feel it. Starting to find a rhythm most more rapidly than in his last absence, when he was clanking versus the Knicks. And Bones once again playing without fear
December 20, 2025 at 4:21 AM
Second chance points: 19-10 Wolves
December 20, 2025 at 4:19 AM
In fact rebounding in this second half has been a big reason Wolves have the lead.
December 20, 2025 at 4:19 AM
Gobert up to 14 rebounds, which has been crucial in limiting Thunder to six offensive boards. He's doing less tipping and more trying to control the space even if he doesn't have a great grasp.
December 20, 2025 at 4:18 AM
Ragu coming out smokin' in the second half and most of the bullets are falling
December 20, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Fans are out of their minds if they think that push isn't a foul
December 20, 2025 at 4:07 AM
Rudy doing a better job of "penetrating," which is to say dribbling toward the hoop in a coordinated manner that causes defenders to collapse on him for his fundamental pass
December 20, 2025 at 4:06 AM
Bones playing really well, especially when he does indeed want to be a pass-first guard. Those treys early in the clock are a gift to OKC--you can't waste possessions vs a 24-2 team.
No matter, good half for Bones and for Wolves in general. 51-48 Thunder

Amazing block on Rudy by SGA
