Absolutely, sadly the great X exodus proved X wasnt the real issue, it was those posting politics and still posting it here instead.
"Keep politics out of your wargames..."

Do you mean acting against Bonaparte, at sea and on land ?
Fighting the Carthaginian oligarchy?
Maybe taking the Populares side against the Optimates?
Or maybe breaking the Soviet teeth?
Or do you mean kick the shit out of Nazis everywhere?

Fuck off.

Panzer gruppe reinforcements near completion. Markings, detailing and crews to finish but, almost done.

French forces on the rail line watch carefully as the number of cows increase. Is this yet another shabby Nazi trick? No, just nice terrain clutter helping to tranform the table. On the other flank the VB team evacuate the stunned SL and avoid a collection of bad things indoing to. 1 nil to france

Table shot longways. German attack on the right to draw in the majority of yhe French force works too well as the German.no1 section gets caught in a firefight before an additional Gruppe joins the frey and seeing them off at bayonet point. Chances of clearing two out of three sectors slim.

The Pz4 of doom shepards the germans no3 section forward and upsets the french gruppe in the house to thier front. Its opening volley sees the house unstable and the next three shots had similar results seeing both a JL and SL stunned and the gruppe reduced to one man. The Blitzkrieg rolls onwards.

A couple of table shots from the weekends Chain of Command2 game set in France, 1940. German second wave attempt the flank attack scenario against from motorised infantry. A great game and the first outing for a pile of table clutter like cows, greenhouse, conservatory and shed all adding value.

Yes, yes I do and some spares and every colour... shape, size but no bloody round ones.
January 11, 2026 at 4:46 PM
Whermacht types backed up by a 250/8 hold the line against US infantry and thier marching fire of doom in the first Chain of Command game of the year. Looking forward to the next.

And now for a public service announcement.

The not so #Festivetankchallenge2025. With the Desert tanks done attention switches to the clingons and a coat of Olive Drab followed by faded OD on the upper surfaces. Varnish added ahead of pin washing. #spreadthelard
December 30, 2025 at 6:51 PM
And thats a wrap on the #Festivetankchallenge2025. 3x M4A2 Sherman III for the late Desert/Tunisia campaigns.
December 30, 2025 at 6:16 PM
#Festivetankchallenge2025 Progress, varnish, pin washes, markings. Just some weathering, shading and highlights to do. Also did the preshade/highlight on the OD bound versions. #spreadthelard
December 28, 2025 at 9:43 PM
#FestiveTankChallenge2025 back at it, G(Cam) Drawing No A-142/1 camo applied as photos seem to indicate camo on Shermans is universal in 1942. Hopefully varnish on later today ready for pin washing tomorrow.

Merry Christmas all, may yuu have a great 2026.
December 25, 2025 at 12:50 PM
#Festivetankchallenge2025 More progress, ditched Portland stone (too light to my eye) and went light stone for the base colour. Added a highlight to raised edges, blocked in the tranks and then added wooden tools. Camo or not to camo... undecided. #spreadthelard
December 24, 2025 at 8:11 PM
#Festivetankchallenge2025 Progress, some preshading/pre highlights prior to basecoating on the three Britsh vehicles bound for the desert. Next up a coat of Portland stone and based on results ill decide on camo or not. #spreadthelard
December 23, 2025 at 5:49 PM
2025 #FestiveTankChallenge2025 and off to the Paintshop they go for a prime. Not sure how much more actual progress can be made today so time for some camo research. #spreadthelard
December 22, 2025 at 3:14 PM
#FestiveTankChallenge Build complete, friends from the stash joining as they wait to head for priming. I thinking the plan will be 3 for the Brits, 4 for the yanks, all Desert/Tunisia bound. Decalls look good. #spreadthelard
December 22, 2025 at 1:05 PM
From the depths of the cupboard of doom escapes the 2025 #festivetankchallenge as i work in the smaller scale (72) its tanks rather than tank. Best do some colour scheme research as these wont take much building. But, off to the Desert they go.

Eye candy post, Chi-Ha on the long road North in Malaya 1941.
December 20, 2025 at 7:39 PM
CoC, 1941, Malaya, Road North scenario. Rajputs fail to get the 15cwt safely down the road despite knocking out a ChiHa, a 70mm gun and the Lanchester causing chaos the patrol phase made it a uphill struggle to clear the road of Japanese and break through.
December 20, 2025 at 7:33 PM
Wip, armoured "might" for my Far East British and Commonwealth forces. Lanchester and a couple of HKVDF armoured cars . Still plenty of work to do but thry are coming together as i clear the deck for the #Festivetankchallenge.

Have a great weekend everyboby.
December 7, 2025 at 12:31 PM
A rare visitor to the table, one of my M4A3E2 Jumbo's (75mm) escapes it storage to wreak havoc in today Chain of Command game. After pumping three rounds if HE into a Whermacht section to great effect it got in a fire fight with a Stug 3F8, 11 armour helping it win the day. 1/72 Italeri model.
November 15, 2025 at 6:36 PM
A few pics of my revamped SS-VT on thier first outing. Things started badly with a starting moral of eight and didnt really improve despite a solid two up attack on the French left losses in NCOs and the supporting Pz3 quickly saw thier moral plummet and the attack falter.
