I’ve pretty much stopped writing shorts and lately have just been writing full episodes (around 8-10 minutes) for Broats
The only thing is I don’t know how to fund their production, but I’ve got close to a full season worth of concepts now

One reason I stubbornly *don’t* use stock model rigs of the Broats is that I want fresh, new drawings to happen regularly and allow the character designs to grow and change over time
Imagine if the Simpsons had made stock rigs of their characters in season 1 and those were locked in forever
