ANNOUNCEMENT/ UPDATE

As of today, I’m officially closing down and canceling commissions on Death Battle Fan Scripts. Managing time and motivation to work on the scripts in general has become increasingly difficult, with the podcast, blog projects, etc. so I’ve made the decision to cut them off

Sooooooo much better than the first one and it’s not even a question in my mind. It’s a lot better paced and is overall quite a bit more engaging, and I actually cared a little bit more for what was going on.

I knew what was gonna happen from the get-go, but I at least hoped that the episode would be good enough that it wasn’t quite so painful…

71.) Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution

The human 3D models look really uncanny and the music doesn’t have the same energy as the original…and that’s where my problems stop. Yeah uh, I actually kinda liked this? I’d probably still recommend the original first, but this isn’t really that bad

70.) Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon - Ultra Legends

WHAT A TURNAROUND FOR GEN. 7!! It started super mid, but this season was quite entertaining, especially when we get to the Pokémon League. Two battles from that shot up to my top 10 favorite battles of the show.

69.) Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us

This one is just kinda decent imo. Apart from some cool moments that show this timeline’s Ash being a skilled trainer even with just Pikachu, nothing really stuck out to me in a good or bad way. Kinda just in one ear and out the other, tbh.

68.) Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon - Ultra Adventures

Definitely an improvement over the last season. The stuff with the Ultra Beasts was really fun and intense at times, and helps in feeling like there’s more going on. Still think the school setting is just kinda there tho

Galaxy’s one of my favorite Mario games and up there for one of my favorite 3D platformers. Nintendo, I have high expectations for this one. I hope you learn from the first movie and capitalize on what makes the Galaxy games so endearing to so many people.

67.) Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!

Yeah this was really good. It’s kinda fascinating going back to the beginning, kind of, and it’s a good mix of fun, cool, and emotional. Probably not my favorite Pokémon movie, but it’s up there.

I am now in completely uncharted territory with the Pokémon anime…and we start with my least favorite season of the show so far.

Not outright bad, and it does pick up near the end, but the energy I feel from the past gens is almost completely gone

My first dive into the IDW Transformers comics, and yeah so far it’s ok. A relatively simple 7ish-issue story that’s probably gonna be a prelude to stories to come. Not a great run, but a decent time all in all
