According to the recently published Special Eurobarometer on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights nearly, 49% of Europeans are aware of the CoFR while 51% have not heard of it. The Charter is least known to the 🇷🇴 Romanian citizens. In 🇧🇬 Bulgaria, 43% are aware of its existence and 46% are not.

The #DSA requires that users should be able to report illegal content quickly and that platforms must act immediately when the reported material involves incitement to violence, hate speech, or other serious harm.
The #DSA was expected to get #socialmedia giants like #Facebook, #TikTok to make the online space safer. Yet an experiment reveals that #platforms often treat user complaints about illegal content as a formality. In the #Baltics, they respond almost exclusively to #regulators’ requests, if at all. 👇
