One of the biggest problems that I have seen no solution for is that the Democrats and plenty of their most brain-dead enablers have decided that politics began in 2015. I understand why they have to do that, because otherwise they have to reckon with Obama’s legacy. 1/23

OMG I woke up from a dream in which we lost ANOTHER member of The First Wives Club.

Actually didn’t watch any movies today and I’m figuring at this point I’m just gonna go to bed.

I’m gonna watch it now. I was just thinking of another old-time royals being awful movie that I love, Anne of the Thousand Days.

So far it’s been neither but I think I’m gonna watch The Lion in Winter after I eat dinner.

Trying to decide what the first movie of my I-don’t-know-when-I’m-gonna-get-another-full weekend-off-again weekend will be. Right now I’m waffling between West Side Story (2021) and The Lion in Winter (1968).

Oh then we could go on a double date because I love Zorhan and want to kiss HIM.

This is a movie I always knew how it ended, but I didn’t know the specifics and I was surprised because I thought somebody else was involved and not the person who was. I don’t know if it’s spoilery not to talk about a 50-year-old movie.

I will continue my tradition of calling those times where I wear scarves or turtlenecks or similar to hide my neck “the ol’ Diane Keaton”

Capitalism is awesome because no one can afford groceries and instead of blaming anyone with wealth or power we get mad at people living on the street or trying to move to the country to work

I love you Rilo Kiley but $45 for a baseball tee is insane.
A Rilo Kiley Team Glendora baseball tee with the number 98 and yellow sleeves for $45

I don’t think I’ve seen it all the way through since we watched it in AP English but for the past couple of weeks, I’ve had a hankering. I feel like I’m going to appreciate it more now than I did 35 years ago.

One of the original cast members said of the Broadway Sheilas that Melba Moore sang it the best but Diane Keaton was the best actor in the role. It’s funny that neither were the original Sheila. Lynn Kellogg who?

Diane Keaton was a original member of the Hair tribe. She was s the soloist in the Black Boys trio and then eventually graduated to playing Sheila Franklin.
Hair 1968 Black Boys/White Boys Diane Keaton, Barry McGuire, and Steve Curry in Hair, 1969 (?)

I only saw this once about 15 years ago. I think I downloaded a torrent that was a laserdisc or VHS rip. The quality was meh. On one hand, it would be nice to see this movie in a better form, but I just don’t know if I ever want to see it again.

I have several oomfs I find unbearably hot but I think except for one occasion - oh no, two 😮‍💨 - when I took leave of my faculties, I have had the good sense to keep it to myself!

Exactly. I’m of the opinion that it’s likely the former, but who knows?
