So look. While the destruction of the ACA is heinous and people will suffer, it will also do something positive, flip the rural MAGA to the left. They will finally realize they've been lied to and either not vote or vote for whoever will give them affordable healthcare again.

Personally, I can't wait for the MAGAts to get their first unsubsidized ACA bill. Then get thier one time $450 "rebate" to help cover their cost. I hope they are drinking a cup of $10 coffee and eating a $25 BLT while they ponder why it's all so expensive now.

I just messaged Dick Durbin regarding his vote on the budget. I can not let his vote go un-answered. I urge everyone to contact their senator and let them know how you feel about their budget vote. It's time the senate understands that they are not the elites they think they are.

If Dems cave and vote for the budget without ACA subsidies, then a lot of dems and MAGA voters will suffer. With the recession hitting for the holidays, it will be worse. I know this sounds cruel, but everyone is going to have to feel the pain before there is a meaningful change. Buckle up.
