People should be doing whatever they can, even in the smallest way, to protest this catastrophe. People should be talking about this, consistently, without stop, until he is stopped.

By 2024, he'd had 4 years to learn how to work the system from the inside, and 4 more to strategize with wealthy allies to manipulate media and influence public opinion through misdirection, distraction, confusion, outright lies.
He gave people license to hate, demonstrated a criminally-inappropriate misuse of federal agencies & resources, and modeled lashing out online with infantile, hysterical hyperbole as acceptable behavior - encouraging the very worst in others.
Trump fostered the disintegration of statesmanship, fair play & articulateness - instead championing dishonesty, vindictiveness, hate, self-absorption, a lack of reason, immature behavior, greed, pettiness and incivility.
Trump gained power with the aid of foreign dictators, systematic/widespread social media targeting & manipulation, fear mongering, and the beyond-outdated electoral college (set up in the days of slavery to keep wealthy, male, white landowners in power).
In the 1940s, the US joined the rest of the civilized world to help defeat an inhuman, unhinged dictator. Since then, our country had been revered as a place of freedom & democratic ideals, a haven for those escaping oppressive regimes…until 2016.
In 1776 Americans declared independence from totalitarian rule. They founded a NEW country, crafted a democratic constitution and a governmental system of checks & balances to prevent any one person or group from having too much power (same reason Harry snapped the elder wand).
