The Year 10 Progress Evening will take place on Thursday 26th February. Appointments will be available to book from 18:00hrs today via School Cloud. More information is available on Class Charts, and on our website.
Year 7 played an internal match on Tuesday after having their fixture postponed. It was a lovely way to finish the half term & showed just how far they have come with their skills. Ava Owen & Megan Harwell were voted as player of the match by the opposing team. Da iawn!

Good luck to the Ospreys U18s in the RAG Championship Final at Cardiff Arms Park tonight. McKenzie S, one of our Year 13 pupils has been selected as a replacement/finisher in the game.

The Y7 hockey team played in the county round of the Welsh Cup playing against other schools in the area. We were the winners with 3 wins & a draw scoring 10 goals across the 4 games. The team was captained by Lottie. We now progress to the next round after half term. Well done team!

Here are some Year 9 subject choice day photographs. Pupils are choosing their areas of interest yesterday with expressive arts. Tye dye in textiles, singing in music and acting out scenes in Annie for drama. Great job everyone!

A fantastic day with Y9 pupils recreating Zombie by The Cranberries and Coldplay’s Viva la Vida, they smashed it. A big thank you to our guest musicians Huw Griffith, Dave Jeffries and Huw Moseley for delivering masterclasses on drums, guitar and bass, such an inspiration for the pupils. Mrs Morgan

It's been a fantastic morning at #EESW & SONY’s Girls into STEM Day. We've spent the morning at SONY enjoying an inspirational factory tour & taking part in an exciting engineering egg challenge. It's been a great experience giving our pupils real insight into careers in engineering &manufacturing.

A huge thank you to Harriet Shroll from Bridgend SW Fire & Rescue Service for the fantastic Fire Safety Course she delivered to our pupils. Harriet has given her time free of charge & made the sessions enjoyable, ensuring our pupils gained valuable knowledge about fire safety. Thank you, Harriet.

Mr Mulligan & Miss Brown had the pleasure of taking Zoe, Isla & Sophie to the Principality Stadium as part of the Safer Internet Day Conference. A fantastic opportunity learning about staying safe online in such an iconic venue. We marked the occasion with a stadium photo, to remember the day!

The Brynteg PTFA ran a Warm Hub at lunchtime where pupils were able to have a free hot drink & snack. This initiative was supported by a £1,000 grant from @bridgend.gov.uk, helping us set up Warm Hubs within school & provide a welcoming space for pupils during the school day. gofund.me/7a568695a

Good luck to Mckenzie S in Year 13 and the Ospreys U18s squad this Sunday, 8th February, kick off 2:30pm at The Gnoll, as they take on Scarlets U18s. Mckenzie is named as a replacement and ready to make an impact as a finisher, best of luck to him and the whole team.

The u14 hockey team played against CCYD for the county round of the Welsh Cup. The mixed age team jelled well to play some great hockey under the guidance of coach Annabelle, scoring some great goals. Results: 1 win, 3 draws & 1 loss were not enough to get the girls through to the next round.
