We're now 7 weeks into his 10 week heartworm treatment. It's getting harder to keep him calm, cool and collective. We did let him out during the snow to lightly play a little. 3 more week my dude, hang in there!

Today marked Jack's 60th day of heartworm treatment. He received his first Melarsomine injection and it's heartbreaking seeing him like this. He is so out of it. Activity restriction isn't an issue today but the next 60 days is going to be rough for him and Bonnie. She is missing her playmate.

Long story short, Jack's owner ran over his foot with a lawn mower and ended up abandoning him at the clinic that our dog sitter works at. He ended up loosing 3 toes on his front left paw. I'll never understand how someone could do this.

We have a new family member to the household ♥️. He had a horrible journey getting here but we are glad he is now a part of our household. Welcome home Jack!
