I rabbit-holed today and ended up watching the Paddington "Happy Jubilee" bit done with Queen Elizabeth II for the first time in years. I absolutely got emo at the end, as I always do. The crazy bit is, I'm not even British... or a Paddington fan. HAHA!

Today I learned that Jackson Galaxy has completed his shedding of credibility and selling out to corporate interests. He's now a "partner" of and "recommending" a particular brand of automated litter boxes. That was the final nail in the coffin of me having any confidence in him or what he says.

I'm reading/watching a lot of #StrangerThingsFinale reviews. People seem to have the same critiques I had, especially that "The final battle was too easy." It's kinda like they battled the boss with a Galoob Game Genie. And again, it was too "pleasant". Not that we have bloodthirst, but, I mean...

Google can suck eggs. This new Gemini "helpfulness mandate" and forced agentic prompts is incredibly obnoxious. I asked it to stop doing that, and it said "I will stop providing those prompts." Followed by, "Would you like me to tell you more about how to generate prompts using AI?" #AIFail

Age old question: why do patients have to be almost-threatened with incessant warnings to be on time or even early for appointments…. But providers are free to make you wait until they damn well are ready? Stop overbooking!!!!
