This is weird framing, given that said deal actually strengthens the most important part — by far — of said Trudeau-era climate measures.

Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

Everybody running around with their hair on fire should stop and read this. There won't be a pipeline, no smart investor wants to take on the coastal natives or BC Gov. Smith can't use Ottawa and threats of separation as a cudgel anymore, and agreed to the environmental demands. Checkmate.

I know the pipeline is controversial and a lot of people are angry, but c’mon people.

1. He hasn’t been elected leader.
2.The NDP is basically bankrupt
3. They can’t stop their infighting long enough to accomplish anything.

Could you be any more delusional?

Nothing strange about it. In my experience, atheists have a better moral compass than many “Christians” by the simple fact that we don’t need a higher power to teach us ethics. Empathy, personal values and rationality inform our actions.

If they don’t care who the leader is, as long as (s)he is Conservative, they’re even stupider than I thought. To quote our PM “Look inside yourself” ffs. (He didn’t say the ffs part, but was probably thinking it. 😂)
Pollster Nik Nanos on preferred prime minister: "But for the Conservatives, it's not about Pierre Poilievre. It's about people that want change, they don't like the Liberals, and they want to see things go in a different direction... I don't think those Conservative voters care who the leader is."
