Currently caught between “why bother finishing my PhD, there are no jobs” and “I have to finish my PhD because I’m not qualified for any jobs outside academia.” Fun times.

My favourite thing at the gym is when one guy has hoarded all the weights so I can’t do my full workout, and he’s just flexing in the mirror half the time he’s there.

Not to be dramatic or anything, but I’m really hating this throwback to 2016 trend because that’s when I met my ex and had several grad-school related breakdowns.

I’ve used the gym in my new building more in the last 2 weeks than I used my old building’s gym in the 3 years I lived there 💪🏻💪🏻

Apparently I could change my flight to Toronto to two days earlier for about $150. Now to work up the courage to talk to my parents about it 😅

How exactly would I go about telling my parents I want to book a new flight 2 days earlier than my original one, without a refund, because I am slowly but surely losing my mind and don’t know if I can last the full length of my trip?

I got some news today, and all I wanted was to be upset and angry, but everyone I talked to anyone about it all they would say is “let it go.” Obviously I will, I’m a pushover, but can’t a bitch be mad?!
