That was a fucking married person fight, oh my god. It starting over something small (the groceries) and escalating so quickly. Hitting the other where it hurts the most because you're hurting and it's easiest to hurt the people you love than deal with your hurt. The tension. The domesticity. The simmering anger. The grief.
