For some people, the enemy of today is tomorrow.
For others, the enemy of today is yesterday.
Some people say, today is really the only thing we have.

But for others, it all goes together.

If there is something worthwhile, like the power of the pardon, Trump's just the one to destroy it.

What a prick.

Isn't that close to a Beatles song? I was so much older then I'm younger than that now.
But it's true, there are these people who molder, who get more and more vile. Andrew Wakefield is one of them, btw. The acid just gets stronger.

What do you do when a public entity becomes entirely corrupted? It's a real puzzle. In this case, however, there is a clear remedy at hand. There is no roadblock to expanding the court and limiting terms. All we need is a raft of great Dem candidates and then a decent Dem President. Voilà !

This is a major story, I think. We have backed Ukraine as a model state trying to be free.

Seems like that was blindness. This is very depressing to read.

I believe there is a secret codicil in this ruling, that she may continue to appear in public and act as though she were still a lawful appointee if she wears low cut dresses, which besides her loyalty to Trump, appears to be her major appeal.

Why did Trump welcome Mamdani so?

Think of it as a meta moment.
Because it's all a game, you never mean what you say, you try to find the right vein to tap, and if you tap it, you win.
And Mamdani found it, as Trump has found it, and I welcome another winner, says Trump.
What you say is trivial.

Thanksgiving goes in stages. I'm at the stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce stage. Thinking of topping it off with white wine, even though I'm sitting here alone with football on. Refrigerator remains full, but I'm working on it. Gave two pies away....

Trump's monetization of the presidency is vile, and doesn't receive near enough publicity. Yes, concentrate of affordability if that works, but the phenomenon of disgust is real - make Trump equivalent to disgust, which he and they deserve.

Trump is the anti-LBJ. Both amassed power - LBJ legally and with respect, Trump not.
Then they revealed their inner selves. LBJ supported the poor and the abused. Trump the opposite. Because LBJ was good at heart, and Trump is bad at heart.
LBJ tried to surpass JFK. Trump is trying to degrade RFKjr.

They say opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference? Well, when you give up arguing with someone over something - Israel, monopolies, whatever - on one or two issues, ok. But if it goes further, and you just give up arguing, I think you're giving up intimacy.
Surrendering to indifference.
