I got Mortal Kombat 1 a few weeks ago, and I have to say I've been loving it thus far. Yes, there are micro transactions, and there are concerns with the story and comparing it to predecessors, but as a standalone product, it does well. Concerns about the kameo system were alleviated instantly.
