I think it would be funny if Galactic Nova had nothing to do with Marx transforming into his iconic boss form, and instead fulfilled his wish by giving him the title of 'Controller of Popstar'.
As if the whole wish was nothing more than a placebo...until he crashed into Nova and absorbed his power
