Listening to Do Not Lay Waste to Homes by El Huervo *again* this morning. Strong contender for my favourite EP of all time.

imagine having to hear shit like "study confirms giving diabetic children insulin reduces their death rates by 100%" as if that hasn't been known for like a hunred years. that's what being trans is like

played a bit of Possessors this evening, and lads I know Search Action games are ten a penny these days, but this is kinda excellent and I feel like it should have more eyes on it.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

man, fuck Trainline. I just went to move my ticket i'm no longer using but is non-refundable to another date, and instead of just swapping the ticket they've taken another 40 quid out of my account and there's a pending refund for the old ticken minus a fiver

NEW POST: Frustrated by the amount of Nopon bullshit I'm having to wade through in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I thought I'd spend some time thinking about all the JRPG characters I've spent time with over the years, and in particular the ones I think would be very good hangs:
Some JRPG good hangs
A not at all principled listicle about some of my favourite guys and gals from the JRPG scene

Finished Blake Manor with one plot thread unresolved. Furious. Shit game 0/10
November 23, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Getting towards the end of Blake Manor and while I'm still enjoying it, the farm is starting to reveal the limitations of its own system. Information gathering is non-linear but sometimes you'll ask a question and a character will act like they haven't just confessed something massive to you

Wanted to be a journalist. Wasn't very good at journalism. There was a pharmacy job going, turns out i'm shit hot at that. Ergo.

NEW VIDEO: When I sort by playtime on my Steam library, seven games sit neatly at the top, these titles all evoking something powerful and comforting in me. And so I thought I'd talk about them here, in this video:

Tried out a bit of Possessors just now, honestly a very cool little game, feels a bit like a 2D Platinum game in certain regards. Very nice art.
