I think one of my favorite character tropes is "Gangsters who try to be evil but only cause minor inconveniences", especially if they have a redemption arc but their evil villain music still plays while they do charitable and good deeds.

10000% agree. There's been so many things in the past that succeeded on a massive level and I'll think "Well dang, I think I could do that, too!" but the difference is I don't, which I'm trying to change.

If you want to feel good about your work quickly, just open your current wip and continue to work on it just few mins. Then close it when you feel content with what you just drew. Small encouraging steps are the best way to move forward and lose the fear of drawing.
