Intricate abstract artwork with a central circular motif surrounded by geometric patterns in vibrant colors.

Long Description:

At the center, a large circular motif is prominent, filled with triangular and ornate geometric patterns in shades of red, yellow, black, and white. THE sketchbook grew so large that a few years after college I pulled it apart and kept it as separate folios as the covers were at a 45 degree angle and it was becoming difficult to cart around.

The BOOK series was started in college when I decided to bind my own sketchbook using all of the different papers I had collected over my years in college. The endboards I covered with old jeans so that I could use the back pocket as a drawing tool holder.

I believe this is the oldest art that I have record of from the BOOK ONE series that I started in college (MCA).. nearly all but the beginning of this series and Sylph 2 were lost in Katrina.
