My friend's cat died recently, and I wanted to paint her for him. Not trusting my artistic skills, I went with something that wasn't just her. Ended up being my best painting yet! I can't wait to give it to him when I see him in a few weeks.

Here to sell Gillette Castle some more:
Large wooded property with trails that used to be a 1920s movie stars personnel train track, complete with a tunnel. Grand vistas of the CT River. Unique building. Fantastic in the Fall.
Gillette also had a "friend, confidant, roommate" after his wife died.
