As Bunsen approaches the ripe old age of 9, we cherish all the time we have with the big guy while being mindful of his past injuries.
Kris took one look at his hopeful face & decided he would join us on the Abraham Lake hike. The two of them shared some wonderful moments in the icy mountain wind.

We took a trek out to Abraham Lake in the Rockies- a frozen lake blown clear by wind.
Methane bubbles released deep below freeze as they rise creating a mesmerizing frozen bubble effect.

It took about 4 hours to install the cat shelves from start to finish. One thing we added was carpet to each step (I used my magical cosplay glue) and better dry wall screws.
The cats love it and it gives Ginger an escape from the Goober and also a fun place to play for Brix!
