Širom - In the Wind of Night, Hard-Fallen Incantations Whisper; compare to The Necks; both are trios who play long, semi-structured pieces with a foundation of repetition. But Širom play different instruments and are grounded in Slovenian folk music

Jimi Tenor - Love Is The Language (versions) - his latest is a single in the style of a Sun Ra anthem (and originally the B-side of his 2024 single "My Mind", which was itself a remake of a song from his 1999 LP "Organism"), with two dance remixes

The stank on this track is incredible, practically visible, and fully justifies naming the album Thermonuclear Sweat. A true stank-goat

Ended up in the British history section of the University library today, and OMG, these are the books on Sussex history. There's a similar amount for every other county!
3 shelves of books, about 3 feet wide; the there are three different sets of uniform "yearbook" volumes. Tens of thousands of pages!

I'm on the fence for that show; seeing Sweet Honey in the Rock in College Park the night before, another show might do me in

I can only get potato salad without pickles in it at one particular grocery store, on the other side of town. (At least it's a small town.) Sure would be nice if the grocery store THAT I CAN WALK TO would carry some non-ruined potato salad.

The best way to eat a microwaved burrito is to put it out in an Amoroso's club roll. Voila, the burrito sub!
