Walked out of work a little after 5. Radar showing a storm moving in. So I’ll catch an 8, ride all the way to West View, work on cleaning out my locker until it’s past. Then I’ll take another 8 out to where the bike’s parked. 17:17 8 ob 6704 7St at Penn Ave. 3/

Today in Not My Idea Of A Good Time, I’m riding a bus home not out of choice. I scootered down to the North Side, as I usually do on a Sunday afternoon, then cooled my heels in Yinz for a bit to read & write stuff. Came out an hour later, no scooter. 1/

At least 100 here for Pittsburgh #CriticalMass and they’re still rolling in. It’s a bit chilly but otherwise pleasant. Maybe 45-50°.

#Coffeenering2025 trip #7: Between the rivers, Yinz Coffee in Bloomfield Pittsburgh. On my way to Critical Mass. Biked here from downtown, about 3mi, then CM will likely be another 5-10, then 3 more back downtown, then finally 1.5-ish from bus to home. I think that’ll count for two miles!

#Coffeeneuring2025 excursion #6: The soon-to-close Eat’n Park on the southbound side of McKnight Road. There’s an identical but larger Eat’n Park a half mile away on the other side of the 6-lane stroad. I don’t bike here often bc of the wheel-eating drain grate directly in the path of travel.

Later today, I will need to travel from McCandless to Scoglio’s in Upper St Clair and back. The jury is still out on exactly how. The place is about two miles from the Carnegie station on the West Busway and it may be raining. I’m likely going to down a drink or two so do not want to drive. 1/
