I really do adore this piece of Sam and Mirth that I've been slowly working on through the first dozen sessions.

The sketch was my initial idea; but Mirth taking Sam for a ride through a warm night in the Faewilde is not the right representation of these two. As the piece took on the actual feelings, Sam's pose changed the most.

He is not blindly following or willingly just going on a wild ride. He's one of first two in the party to speak against Mirth facing responsibility and fear alone and without a second thought. Not to stop him, to ground him. He's not alone, and he's probably not strong enough to survive trying to do it that way. It's ok to ask for help.
