i've seen a few cn eunhae fans joke abt how the two of them are so saccharine sweet together that they purposefully read/write sad fic to balance it out and i feel like it's slowly happening to me bc every cute fic idea somehow devolves into 'let's throw this gut-wrenching spanner into the works'

okay have reached the "true" ending hades ii and feel very.... :| about it, tbh. like i feel i can see what ideas they were maybe trying to convey—not wanting revenge to be the "happy ending" and wanting to tie back into the theme in hades i of family over all else, but it feels so rushed/incomplete

seems like the berried shrimps' eggs have hatched bc I saw a teeny tiny baby shrimp today. so far haven't seen any others--am hoping that's just bc they're doing a better job of hiding amongst the plants & driftwood and not bc the fish have eaten them

before traveling i accidentally spilled like, maybe 1~2mL of one of my perfumes (l'occitane's cherry blossom) while trying to decant it into a travel bottle, and somehow a WEEK LATER i can still smell it on everything x___x

this is VERY stupid of me but realized while noodling on the guitar last night at 3 fucking am that I can just... figure out chords for a song by playing out what notes I think harmonize with the melody? rather than blindly plonking out chords until something sounds right?
