#COP30 ended at the weekend.

The final deal is known as the Mutirão and it represents some progress around a just transition but a lack of new, non-debt creating climate finance is disappointing.

In yesterday's Angelus, Pope Leo XIV expressed his sadness following recent kidnappings in Nigeria and Cameroon.

In addition to calling for the release of all hostages, he also encouraged us all to pray for the church and school communities that have been affected. 🙏
