BEV THE HACKER DOES TIME
A SHORT STORY BY CAIT GORDON

A teen girl begins community service at a seniors residence after hacking the intragalactic network to route all sexy searches to display laxative commercials.
But for some weird reason, there doesn't seem to be any "old people" anywhere!

A 2025 INDIEVERSE AWARDS NOMINEE IN THE CATEGORY: BEST
ANTHOLOGY, COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES, OR SHORT WORK FICTION!

There’s a cartoon of a blue alien with blue hair and goggles wearing baggy blue overalls. She’s holding onto a mop that’s inside a bucket.

I want to be comforted by my own sense of humour. So, I’m reviewing my first draft of Hot Wings and Sauciness, and it feels good to laugh despite the stresses all around me. #SpoonieAuthChat

Oh, I like the idea about blogging about it. Because that’s also writing!

That’s kinda me as well. I need to do something else to self-regulate.

I composed this question when feeling supremely overwhelmed. So it has “asking for a friend” energy.

It’s me. I’m the friend.

What do you folks do? #SpoonieAuthChat

We’re back home for now. I need about a million hours of rest.

Holy moly. It’s been a wild ride since we had to rush to our hometown for a family member who was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, today was a much better day. If I’m slow to reply, it’s just because I’m exhausted.

And if it comes true, you, Talia, and I will have “Cake and Bitch” venting parties!

Hahaha! I still have a dream of moving to Toronto!
